i keep losing friends. always in the same way, too. this time was a bit different, but it mostly stuck to the same script, and i was the one cut off by the end of it. i just couldn't muster the nerve to confront them while they were vague posting about me where i could see it. it was emotionally exhausting, all of it, but especially the final weeks of our friendship. i wish i didn't miss them as much as i did.
